Consequences of anger.

  • On a family or social level: When we are angry, we can physically or emotionally hurt others, resulting in resentment, desire for revenge or withdrawal also When we cannot properly handle anger, we can take it out on other people, thus increasing our problems.
  • On an emotional level: When we feel that other people make us angry (or make us sad, tense, etc.), we are giving them full control of the situation, thus increasing our feeling of helplessness and anger.
  • On the personal side: we focus so much on our anger and its cause, that we stop enjoying other situations or relationships, it is difficult for us to objectively analyze the situation and find adequate solutions, it affects our performance in any situation.
